Job Description

Pursley Dixon Architecture is an architecture and interior design studio specializing in custom residential work. The Charlotte, North Carolina based firm is seeking an Architectural Assistant who will share our passion to build beautiful things.

Primary Responsibilities Include

• Work directly with Principals and Project Architects in preparation of design and presentation documents
• Prepare renderings of designs for client presentations
• Create 3D models of home designs with fly through animation
• Assist in preparation of construction documents and project specifications
• Communicate with clients, consultants, and contractors as needed

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited college/university
• Proficient in Adobe Suite, InDesign, Photoshop, Sketch Up
• Proficient in Vectorworks, AutoCAD
• Strong hand drafting and sketching skills
• 1 - 3 years of residential design experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Collaborative spirit and wiliness to work with others to create legacy works of architecture
• Must love dogs
