About Crowd Cow
How many times in your career do you get the chance to help scale a high-growth startup and transform the food system? As the massive $200 billion categories of meat and seafood move online, Crowd Cow is already at the forefront — building the leading brand through convenience, assortment, and farm-to-table transparency.
We partner with ethical farms and fisheries around the world to source high-quality, more sustainable food, and share the stories behind every product and producer we carry. Join us. Together, we're building a transformative, enduring company that makes a real positive impact on the food system.
This isn't a typical call center seat. We're looking for a Customer Care Concierge — someone who brings warmth, expertise, and a genuine love of food to every interaction.
Based at our Scranton, PA fulfillment center, you'll be the primary point of contact for Crowd Cow's direct customers and our 3PL clients, delivering personalized, high-touch service that turns first-time buyers into lifelong fans. You'll also play an active role in growing our seasonal gifting business — helping guide customers and corporate buyers through curated selections for every occasion.
This role blends exceptional customer service, consultative sales, and a deep (or deepening!) love of great steak.
You Are A…
Concierge-Level Customer Champion
You deliver personalized, high-quality service across email, SMS, and social channels — not just resolving issues - You go the extra mile for both direct customers and 3PL partners, ensuring every touchpoint reflects the Crowd Cow standard.
AI-Savvy Operator
You'll harness our AI-enabled customer listening tools to spot trends, anticipate needs, and continuously elevate the customer experience.
Escalation Expert
When things get complicated, you step in to resolve complex issues, and turning difficult moments into opportunities to build loyalty.
Gifting & Sales Consultant
You'll help grow our seasonal gifting program by confidently guiding customers and corporate clients through gift card or product selections tailored to their needs and budgets. You're comfortable in a consultative sales capacity — you listen, you advise, and you close with confidence.
Process Thinker
You analyze data, identify friction points, and propose solutions that make the team sharper and the customer experience smoother. You're always looking for a better way.
Informal Team Resource
While you won't have direct reports, you'll naturally become a go-to for colleagues — sharing knowledge, modeling best practices, and contributing to a positive, collaborative team culture.
Cross-Functional Collaborator
You'll work across departments to deepen product knowledge and pitch in on inventory receiving, quality assurance, and administrative tasks as needed.
Meat Sommelier
As your knowledge of our products grows, you'll leverage expertise in steak cuts, aging processes, and cooking methods to help customers find exactly what they're looking for. Training is available — but a head start is always a bonus.
