We are seeking an experienced Data Warehouse Architect / Teradata Architect to support and administer a large-scale Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Teradata Administration , platform management, performance tuning, backup & recovery, ETL, and enterprise data warehouse technologies.
This role is responsible for managing production, development, disaster recovery, and test environments while ensuring high availability, security, performance, and reliability of the enterprise data warehouse platform.
Required Qualifications8+ years of hands-on experience with Teradata Database Administration .
Strong experience with Teradata Tools & Utilities (TTU) .
Experience with Teradata Viewpoint Administration .
Experience with Teradata Workload Management .
Expertise in Teradata Backup & Recovery .
Strong experience in Performance Tuning and Resource Optimization .
Experience with ETL processes .
Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux administration.
Scripting experience using Bash, Perl, or Python .
Experience with platform upgrades, provisioning, software maintenance, and monitoring.
Knowledge of cloud computing concepts, preferably Microsoft Azure .
Experience with disaster recovery planning, security, audits, and compliance.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Administer and maintain enterprise Teradata platforms.
Manage production, development, disaster recovery, and test environments.
Perform platform upgrades, patching, and software maintenance.
Monitor system health and optimize platform performance.
Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
Support ETL operations and resource optimization.
Troubleshoot platform and database issues.
Collaborate with infrastructure teams, DBAs, developers, and business stakeholders.
Maintain security standards, compliance requirements, and technical documentation.
Coordinate vendor support and release management activities.
