Job Description

We are seeking a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician to join a high-volume, well-resourced emergency department in Killeen, Texas. This opportunity offers competitive compensation, flexible scheduling, and comprehensive benefits within a collaborative clinical environment.

The Emergency Medicine Physician will provide high-quality, patient-centered emergency care in a 30-bed Emergency Department with over 50,000 annual visits. The department operates as a Level IV Trauma Center, managing a wide spectrum of medical and trauma cases.

Schedule & Work Structure:

Flexible scheduling with four physician shift types: Day, AM Swing, PM Swing and Night

Ability to work 3 consecutive shifts for improved consistency and work-life balance

Compensation & Benefits:

$300 per hourcompetitive compensation

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries

Manage high-acuity and trauma cases in a Level IV trauma setting

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient, high-quality care

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record

Uphold the highest standards of patient safety and clinical excellence

Qualifications:

ABEM board-eligible or board-certified in Emergency Medicine

Board-Certified or Board-Trained in Emergency Medicine

Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in Texas

Strong clinical judgment and ability to thrive in a high-volume environment

Commitment to teamwork, quality care, and continuous improvement
