We are seeking a Network Security Engineer to join our team. This role will involve designing, implementing, and managing secure network infrastructures, ensuring high availability and performance of enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have experience in network security, load balancing, firewall management, and cloud security solutions, with a passion for securing enterprise environments and optimizing network performance.

Job Description:

Position Overview:
The Network Security Engineer will be responsible for managing and securing enterprise network environments, ensuring seamless application delivery, and maintaining robust security controls. This role requires deep expertise in network security technologies, troubleshooting complex issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities (10+ years experience required):

• Design, configure, and troubleshoot F5 BIG-IP LTM and GTM for high availability and application delivery
• Implement and manage Zscaler solutions (ZIA and ZPA) to secure web and private application access
• Deploy and manage Infoblox DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (IPAM) solutions
• Configure and manage enterprise firewalls, including Palo Alto Networks, enforcing security policies such as NAT and threat prevention
• Administer PAC files, SSL inspection policies, and troubleshoot network traffic flows
• Monitor, analyze, and resolve complex network and security incidents (P1/P2 level)
• Conduct root cause analysis and maintain problem records for recurring issues
• Maintain network documentation including configurations, diagrams, and change management procedures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network security strategies with business objectives

Required Skills & Expertise (10+ years experience required):

• Strong hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP LTM/GTM, including iRules and SSL certificate management
• Deep knowledge of Zscaler (ZIA, ZPA, PAC files, DLP engines)
• Experience with Infoblox DDI/IPAM administration
• Strong experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls
• In-depth knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, DNS)
• Experience with SD-WAN and Cisco networking environments (LAN/WAN)
• Familiarity with automation tools and scripting (Python, Ansible)
• Expertise in troubleshooting using tools like Wireshark

Core Competencies:

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex network issues
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for documentation and stakeholder reporting

Education & Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience

Additional Requirements:

• Experience supporting Level 2 Network Operations environments
• Ability to handle high-priority incidents and provide on-call support
• Willingness to work onsite in Plano, TX
• Experience with Cisco DNAC and enterprise network environments preferred
