The Nurse Manager Emergency Room will oversee clinical and operational performance within a busy Emergency Department, also known as the ER, ED, and Fast Track. As part of a dynamic Emergency Department that functions as a vital 132-bed regional healthcare hub providing advanced medical services to residents across western Kansas, eastern Colorado, and the Oklahoma panhandle, this leader will guide a team delivering care in a state-of-the-art, 24/7 Level III Emergency Department treating approximately 18,000 patient visits annually. The Nursing Manager Emergency Department will ensure efficient throughput, optimal patient flow, trauma-ready responsiveness, and exceptional clinical outcomes across all areas of the ER and Fast Track services.
Reporting to the Director of Emergency Services, the Nurse Manager Emergency Room will collaborate closely with charge nurses, physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary leaders to maintain high standards of patient care and operational excellence. The ER RN Manager will provide direct oversight of staffing, budgeting, performance improvement initiatives, regulatory readiness, and professional development.
