Pipe Welder

Location: Georgetown, SC

Pay: Up to $30/hr (based on experience)

Schedule: Full-time, day shift or night shift, lots of overtime

We are hiring an experienced Pipe Welder to join a fabrication shop in Georgetown, SC. This is a shop-based role focused on welding pipe for industrial equipment and assemblies. Ideal candidates have strong TIG pipe experience and are comfortable working from blueprints in a production environment.

Responsibilities

Perform TIG and Stick pipe welding on carbon steel and stainless steel

Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings

Fit, tack, and weld pipe spools and components to specification

Maintain weld quality and consistency to shop and code standards

Work safely and efficiently in a fabrication shop environment

Other duties as assigned

Requirements

2+ years of pipe welding experience in an industrial or fabrication setting

Strong TIG pipe welding experience

Experience with carbon steel and stainless steel

Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols

Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Preferred

ASME or AWS welding experience or certifications

Production or fabrication shop experience

Ability to pass a pipe weld test

Pay & Benefits

Pay up to $30/hr depending on experience and weld test

Steady, long-term shop work — no travel

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Georgetown, SC.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $26.00/hr.
