Angelo’s Pizzeria—one of South Philadelphia’s most respected pizza shops—has partnered with Bardea Restaurant Group to bring its signature pies to Wilmington. Located inside DECO Food Hall, this concept combines Angelo’s renowned product with the energy and volume of a fast-paced food hall. We’re looking for cooks who take pride in craft, consistency, and working as part of a tight, high-performing team.

Job Summary:

As a Pizza Cook at Angelo’s Pizzeria, you’ll be responsible for executing high-quality pizzas with precision and speed. From dough handling to baking, you’ll play a key role in delivering a product that lives up to the Angelo’s name. This is a hands-on, fast-moving position that requires focus, urgency, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook pizzas according to established standards and recipes
• Stretch, top, and bake pizzas with consistency and efficiency
• Maintain proper dough handling and ingredient usage
• Prep and stock ingredients including sauces, cheeses, meats, and vegetables
• Ensure all pizzas meet quality and presentation standards
• Keep a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation
• Work collaboratively with team members to maintain strong service flow
• Assist with opening/closing duties, prep, and cleaning
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards, including DECO Food Hall guidelines

Qualifications:

• Previous pizza-making or high-volume kitchen experience preferred
• Comfortable working with fresh dough and pizza ovens
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure
• Reliable, team-oriented, and detail-focused
• Basic knife skills and food safety knowledge
• Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays
• ServSafe certification is a plus
