Job Title: 2nd shift Production Supervisor

Location: Lancaster, NY

Employment Type: Temp to Hire

Industry: Consumer Services

Compensation: $28.00 - $33.00 /hr.

Schedule: 40 hrs/Week. - (2 nd shift) 4pm-12am.

About the Opportunity:

• Participate in daily shift hand-off meetings with the 1st Shift Supervisor to review active work orders, machine line assignments, and production priorities for the shift.
• Ensure all floor employees are following established production priorities and working efficiently throughout the shift.
• Provide active, visible leadership on the production floor - leading by example and maintaining a strong, positive presence.

What You'll Do:

• Partner with machine operators to troubleshoot equipment and process issues in real time.
• Communicate effectively with the maintenance team regarding equipment concerns and downtime.
• Keep management informed of shift progress, production issues, and team performance.
• Make overtime staffing decisions when applicable, selecting appropriate personnel based on operational needs.
• Oversee pack-out line operations and ensure quality and throughput standards are met.

Job Requirements

What You'll Bring:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of experience in Supervising.
• 5+ years of experience in Printing, graphic arts, or paper converting.

• Cutting/slitting experience.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills; able to work across shifts and departments.
• A calm, professional attitude and strong personal poise - this role sets the tone for the shift.
• Ability to make sound, timely decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Comfortable in a flat organizational structure where collaboration is key.
