Safety Director Orlando, Fl
Pay $110k to $130K DOE
Our client is hiring a commercial electrical contractor working primarily on multi-million dollar construction projects for Data Centers and Healthcare (think hospital wings, not small clinics). They want to see candidates who have worked in commercial construction, ideally with a lot of experience working in electrical projects. This client is eager to hire and will respond to submittals within 1-2 days at most.
Candidates must have:
•5+ years of experience in Safety leadership with commercial and electrical exposure, ideally both
•OSHA 30 required
•Bilingual English & Spanish strongly preferred
•Bachelor's degree in construction mgmt, electrical engineering, occupational health & safety or other relevant degree.
•Journeyman or Master Electrical licensing is a big plus
•Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills•
Travel required regularly to job sites, and on occasion, out of state for overnight trips.
•Ability to provide 24/7 on-call support for safety emergencies or incidents that occur after hours or on weekends
•Safety certifications (CSP, ASP, CHST) are a plus.

.•Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field strongly preferred.
•OSHA 30 certification required.•Electrical contractor safety experience preferred.•Safety certifications such as CSP, ASP, or CHST are a plus.•Journeyman or Master Electrician license is advantageous.
•Extensive knowledge of OSHA and other relevant safety regulations
.•Proficiency with MS Office and safety software.
•Ability to travel regularly to regional job sites and occasionally out of state, including overnight stays.
•Ability to provide 24/7 on-call support for safety incidents as needed.
