Role Overview; Java Developer (Vertex + Kotlin)
We are looking for a skilled Java Developer with Vertex and Kotlin experience to build and support enterprise applications focused on tax calculation, compliance integrations, and modern backend development. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java/Kotlin, microservices, and Vertex tax solutions.
Key Skills:
Strong Java & Kotlin development
Hands-on experience with Vertex (Vertex O Series / Vertex Cloud)
Integration of tax engines with ERP / billing / eCommerce systems
Spring Boot & Microservices Architecture
REST APIs & Web Services
SQL & database experience (Oracle/PostgreSQL)
CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins)
Cloud exposure (AWS/Azure preferred)
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain backend applications using Java & Kotlin
Integrate and support Vertex tax solutions
Build scalable microservices and REST APIs
Troubleshoot and resolve integration and production issues
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for delivery
Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability
Preferred Skills:
Experience with financial/tax systems or compliance platforms
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
Exposure to DevOps practices and cloud-native development
