Elwood Staffing is hiring a Welder Fabricator in Longview, TX! Mon-Fri 8a-5p $18-22/hr DOE

Welder Fabricator Details:

Temp-to-Hire position
$18.00 to $22.00 / hour
Full Time work available
First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm )

Perform MIG welding
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols
Fit, align, and assemble metal parts prior to welding
Operate welding equipment, grinders, cutting torches, and other fabrication tools
Inspect completed welds for quality, strength, and accuracy
Measure and verify dimensions using tape measures, squares, and other precision tools
Repair defective welds and make adjustments as needed
Assist with general fabrication and production duties as assigned.

Welder Fabricator Qualifications:

1+ years of previous welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred
Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
